Crime is legal*
*terms apply
Heist is a comedy crime server set in one city where burglary is a licensed profession. Buy a Heist Permit from the Bureau, pick the lock on a door, and take what you can carry from the safe before the owner shows up. Every dollar is a real item, so the cash in your pockets can be stolen too. Stolen cash is marked, and only Vinny will buy it.
Rob without a permit and you are WANTED: any player may come for you. Buy a plot, protect it with a security door and traps, and start a company. The five richest players wear crowns, and one big heist can take them.
The tone is Ocean's Eleven played by idiots: the comedy comes from the systems, and nobody has to perform. It is built to be fun with eight people online, and the fights only happen where the city allows them.
A permit buys the city's indifference, and it is used up at the crime. Quiet locks are a lockpick puzzle; iron doors take a breaching charge. A safe opens a 45-second loot screen.
Every dollar is an item. Stolen cash is marked, and only Vinny buys it. What you carry, someone else can take.
A security door is the only thing that alerts you. Traps hurt; sentries, guard dogs and dye packs do the rest. Insurance pays a quarter back, automatically.
Bounty contracts are public, and the posters carry the target's real face. The hunting licence is earned at a three-station exam.
♛1 THE KINGPIN down to ♛5 THE BIG SHOT: the five richest players wear them whether they like it or not, and a crown can be stolen.
Founded at the Bureau, with a ticker tag in chat, a shared vault and an HQ plot. The Bureau bell rings across the city when one is born.
Who it is for
Comedic, not sweaty
Violence is legal in four places only: defending a break-in, bounties, WANTED players and the Pit, the licensed 1v1 fight club. The plaza is safe. No guns, ever.
Where it stands
Being built now
The city map arrived in October and the game is moving onto it. It opens when the first hour is right, not before. The opening date goes in the Discord first, and every launch starts everyone fresh.
