The hub and the servers

Everyone who joins play.sturdymc.com lands in the hub. It is a lobby, not a game: no damage, no building, just the compass and the guide book. Right-click the compass (or type /servers) to pick a server; /server survival takes you straight there. Each server also has its own address you can save in your server list, so you never have to pass through the hub at all.

A server that is not open yet shows "Coming soon" on the compass and refuses the click. The opening dates go in the Discord first.

One account everywhere

Your Minecraft account is your Sturdy account. Your Gem balance, your purchases, your Discord link and any punishment are network-wide; your inventory, money, town, ranks and cosmetics belong to the server you earned them on. A rank bought for Survival is a Survival rank; the Gems you bought are yours on every server.

Gems

Gems are the network's premium currency: one balance that is the same on every server. You earn them by voting (2 per vote) and at milestones, and you can buy them in the store, where bigger packs carry bonus Gems. On Survival they buy premium ranks (/premium) and Heirloom engraving (/engrave), among other things. Gems are not money: they never buy in-game cash, land or progression, so nothing bought with them unbalances an economy.

The store

store.sturdymc.com sells crate keys and Gems. Survival's premium ranks are bought in game with Gems (/premium); the store will carry them too. Enter the Minecraft username the items are for, pay on Tebex's secure checkout, and the items arrive in game within a minute, or at your next login if you are offline. You can buy for a friend by name. The ladder of earned ranks is not for sale, and every crate lists its contents with the real chances before you buy.

The Discord link

Type /link in game on any server; it gives you a six-character code. In the Discord, type /link followed by that code. That links your Discord to your Minecraft account for the whole network: your server roles (Survival, and the others as they open), your premium tier as a role, and 20 Gems, once. /unlink in the Discord undoes it. Staff applications use the link to know who you are in game.

Voting

Five server lists, one vote each per day, and every vote pays $100, 2 Gems and a Gold crate key on Survival. /vote in game lists the links, or use the Vote page. Votes decide where Sturdy ranks on the lists, which is where most new players come from.
