Scheduled restarts
| Survival | daily at 3:00 am Pacific (10:00 UTC), about a minute. Chat gets a 5-minute, 1-minute and 10-second warning, and everyone on is moved to the hub first. |
| Hub | Mondays at 3:00 am Pacific (10:00 UTC), under a minute. |
| Maintenance | Anything planned happens in the quiet window right after the daily restart, 3:00 to 3:30 am Pacific. Longer downtime is announced in the Discord first. |
When something looks wrong
The Discord's #status channel carries a live post from the server itself, updated every minute, and staff post there during any downtime. If this page says we are offline for more than a few minutes outside the restart window, that is where to look.
How the numbers are counted
The counts are the network's own: the connections the proxy is holding on each server, the same number the server lists show. Backups run nightly and are mirrored off-site; the world is never more than a day from a copy, and the restore has been drilled.
